But bananas should never be used as your dog's main meal because of their high sugar content; instead, they are only given as a rare treat.

It also helps in absorbing vitamins. However, like any food, you should only feed your dog bananas in moderation, especially since they contain much sugar.

Like most fruits, bananas contain vast amounts of sugar, which can cause high anxiety levels for dogs and lead to GIT (gastrointestinal) problems, diabetes, and obesity if given in massive quantities.
