Less than a year since Endeavor’s ScaleUp Program Cohort 2, the Malaysian chapter of a global entrepreneur support organisation with growth stage businesses in 41 markets has shortlisted 12 companies for their ScaleUp Program Cohort 3.
Following the success in the previous two cohorts, supporting high-potential companies such as BloomThis, Dropee, Healthmetrics, TRAPO and many more, the ScaleUp Program aims to accelerate the ecosystem in producing more high-impact scaleups for the upcoming decade.
“With so much uncertainty with the economic situation locally and globally, there is definitely an urgent need to grow and develop a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem. After speaking with many of the entrepreneurs, I believe that having the support of the community and the ecosystem plays a significant role in an entrepreneur's success journey. I really hope that the chosen companies will benefit from the highly customised four months program and eventually progress into the Endeavor Entrepreneur track that focuses on growing large, high growth companies globally. Congratulations to all shortlisted companies!” commented Tunku Alina (pic, left), Chair of JA Russell & Co Sdn Bhd. (whose subsidiary is Boh Plantations Sdn Bhd), Endeavor Mentor and one of the ScaleUp Program advisory board members.
“The people with the best advice are usually the ones who have been through the most; One thing I appreciate most about Endeavor is the mentor network.
Throughout three months in the program, I have met business leaders like Sharil Tarmizi (Senior Advisor of ASEAN Advisory) and Fadza Anuar (Group CEO & Co-founder of FashionValet Group) who have helped me better understand customer acquisition, fundraising, market positioning and regional expansion. This inspires me to also eventually give back to the next generation of entrepreneurs in the near future by either becoming a mentor, investor or a role model.” commented Sheikh Ezaiddin (Founder & CEO of Ejen2u).
